Voter Service Team

League works to empower all Boulder County citizens to engage in our election processes

LWVBC's Voter Service Team works to ensure that every citizen
   √
registers to vote;
   √
makes informed election choices; and
   √ votes in every election.

Voter Service Team activities include:

Voter Information and Registration Tables:
Trained volunteers register voters, distribute brochures and answer questionsregarding registration, election matters and League programs at farmer's markets and other public venues (active from May to mid-Oct.)

Ballot Issues
 (for Boulder County & its municipalities):
Volunteers research, write and publish information on the LWVBC website to assist voters in understanding the objectives and pros vs. cons of ballot issues. They also deliver neutral presentations about the ballot proposals in public meetings (active from Aug. to end of Oct.).
Voter registration
Candidate Forums: The LWVBC organizes public forums where candidates for elective office are invited to speak and answer questions posed by the audience through a moderator (active from mid-Sept. through mid-Oct.).

VOTE411: Volunteers draft and submit questions to candidates in Boulder County races, and then publish their un-edited responses at VOTE411.org to assist voters in assessing candidates. Boulder County ballot issues information is published at VOTE411.org (active from early October).
