LWVBC is partnering with Longmont Public Media and the Longmont Museum to show the film "Counted Out - Math is Power". The film investigates the biggest crises of our time—political polarization, racial and economic inequity, a global pandemic, and climate change—through an unexpected lens: math.

COL Sheri A. Swokowski (Ret.), Ph.D., the first, highest ranking out transgender service member, will discuss her experiences transitioning and gender-affirming care in the military. Mr. Stellan Knowles will discuss his work reclaiming trans joy through storytelling, self-expression, and connection.
