Subject: LWVBC Voter Service - ALL HANDS ON DECK!
From: Stacie Johnson

The LWVBC Voter Service Team encourages your attendance for a voter service volunteer orientation/reorientation to be held at the Frasier Retirement Community (Boulder) this Saturday, April 20th, from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. The event includes an informal Q&A with Boulder County Clerk & Recorder, Molly Fitzpatrick. We will also introduce a new social media and outreach campaign titled WHY I VOTE - VOICES OF OUR COMMUNITY. If you are interested in knowing more about the behind-the-scenes work that goes into conducting ballot issue research, candidate forums, voter outreach, and the League’s online voter guide, VOTE411.org, please join us! We need you and your talents as we prepare for a busy election year ahead.

Also on deck for voter service activity is the upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebration at Longmont's Roosevelt Park. As part of the day-long community celebration, LWVBC will have a booth at the event. To adequately staff the LWVBC station and to greet visitors, please SIGN-UP to volunteer on the LWVBC website. Along with celebrating Longmont’s Latino community, LWVBC volunteers will share information about the League, promote the WHY I VOTE campaign, and provide voting resources to community members.

For more information about these events or other voter service opportunities, please visit the events page on the LWVBC website or reach out to Stacie Johnson at 303-910-8399 or by email at voterservice@lwvbc.org.
