NOTES FROM LAST TIME
Social Media/ Youth Outreach
Following the example of the Larimer League, Desiree will contact SliceCU to see if there is a possibility of organizing a brainstorming sessions with students. Output will be posts, themes, memes, etc. for us to use on our social media.
Bus Advertising
Kathryn will work with Molly Fitzpatrick's Office to determine whether we can collaborate with them on bus advertising.
Nonactive Voters -- Texting
Kathryn reports that there are about 4400 inactive voters in 2025 (with phone #s). Kathryn will check with Karen Sheek (Local League Liaison from LWVCO Board) to see if other Leagues are texting, what it costs, how it's done, can we collaborate?
Erika is looking into What's App.
ClubExpress has an option to enable texting.
Note:
Rates for your organization
Phone number rental fee $2.00 USD per month.
Rate per message: $0.03
Nonactive Voters -- Postcards
Kathryn: sorting the database by precincts to find low-turnout precincts. When we know about how many we're talking about we can determine numbers and costs of postcards. That will also determine design of postcards -- hand-written?
Depending on how many postcards, we can call for volunteers.
