Improving Boulder City Governance through Better Electoral Systems
The Boulder County League of Women Voters invites you to attend a forum discussing what citizens want to achieve in Boulder City Council elections and steps to get there.
Background issues: How can we ensure fair, representative, and effective city governance in Boulder and what are possible electoral solutions? Should we directly elect the mayor? Should we use a voting method that promotes proportional representation? Should we change to a way of voting that lets us rate or rank all the candidates? Should Council members represent districts? How could we increase the City Council’s voter representation?
