Unit Meetings
The Units are the heart of the League where we address timely topics in small groups. A topic presentation is prepared for a particular month, and during that month, the same presentation is given at 5 different times/locations. Attend the presentation time and location most convenient to your schedule.
The Public is Welcome to these informative meetings,
except for occasional Consensus Meetings reserved for members.

Local League Committees focus on current issues and prepare informational material for presentation at the public meetings called Units.

Upcoming Unit Meetings
FEBRUARY: Civil Liberties Issue-- Right to Die
Presentation includes:
- background on the issue
- a description of the Oregon and Washington Death with Dignity laws
- a brief summary of the laws in other states and countries.
There will also be a discussion on end-of-life topics and the question of "Should Colorado have an 'Oregon-type' right-to-die law?"

APRIL: Consensus Meeting on Privatization of Government Services
This Unit is a specialized meeting allowing members to express their opinions and come to mutual agreement on various aspects of the national LWV study on Privatization of Government Services.
LWV study reports can help members become familiar with the topic before the meeting.
